Prospective Old Mill Families

There are 5 elementary schools in the Mill Valley School District. Placement at an elementary school is determined by the school district staff and not by Old Mill School staff or parents. Please see our FAQ for enrollment information including guidelines and school district boundaries.

Incoming Kindergarten Families

Welcome to kindergarten! Ms. Althoff and Ms. Nichols are our kindergarten teachers. The kindergarten school day runs from 8:40 am to 1:40 pm. At the beginning of the school day the teachers pick up the children in the upper playground. At the end of the school day, they are dismissed to a parent or an approved adult on Throckmorton Avenue at the outer doors to rooms 1 and 2. Incoming Families for Grades 1 to 5:

Welcome to grades 1 through 5! The school day for these grades runs from 8:30 am to 2:50 pm except for Wednesdays, when the school day ends at 1:45 pm.
